Say hello to Cindy.
After a long day portraying Snow White at Disneyland in Anaheim, Cindy hustles off to her other job... working the main stage, as she portrays Candy at Club Skin in Montebello.

This tree was in full bloom last summer. Then, gradually it's leaves began to starve for daylight and before long all leaves fell from the branches, leaving the tree naked. It's difficult for a tree to hide its shame so it lets it all hang out for the world to see.

William S. Burroughs published his seminal book, Naked Lunch, in 1959. The novel has been hailed as one of the most important novels of the twentieth century and—for those devoted to his writing—a piece of literature that shaped both the writing and the culture of the time. I did make a good-faith effort to try and read it but, for a few reasons, it didn’t capture my interest.
Anyhoo… The elderly fellow displayed on the screen behind me is Mr. Burroughs. He’s (presumably) using both hands to clasp his book. I used one; the other daintily held my sandwich from which—shockingly, no doubt, to the delicate sensibilities of the audience—my ham, cheese and mustard choose to provocatively...one could say, nakedly....expose themselves.
The sordid details: Olympus E-500 on tripod. Expose at 1/20 of second at f3.8 on a 12-second timer delay. ISO 400. Lens: 14.0-45.0mm; lens set at 18mm. No flash or Grey Poupon.

I ultimately decided to go with a product shot, after finally discovering that there is a beverage brand called Naked. Well, what do you know? Apparently it's an all-natural fruit juice smoothie mix. This particular flavor (there are many), is called Mighty Mango and it has mangos, bananas, apples, oranges and a little bit of lemon juice it it. So after finding the beverage it was simply a matter of collecting the right props to accompany the shot. I decided to use the black background so the colors would stand out more.
Studio shot. Tripod mounted. ISO 200, 1/250th of a second at f/16, with myy 24-70mm Nikkor zoomed to 48mm.
