While sitting on the living room couch, it came to me that I should get rid of that Canon Rebel G that has been taking up space on my desk. After all it is a Canon and doesn't deserve to be in the presence of my Nikon collection. It was a thrift shop impulse purchase this winter ($4) and has served no purpose, not even being a good paperweight. The thing needs film and two C123 batteries of all things. Useless. I bet I'd have to pay someone on eBay to take it.
Photo was taken with my iPhone, with light coming from the south. Do any of you guys want it? Its sold as is.

There is no shortage of things at my house that could sell on eBay. This is a DeWald radio. It has a Bakelite case. I tried the Kevin Gordon Sound of Music lighting technique. I had my soft box inches above a piece of audio equipment. I went with a normal lens instead of wide angle.
ISO 100, f8, 1/100 sec, 55mm

"So some of my frat brothers including Joshua, Nicolas, Tyler and Brandon got together and threw a party. We had everything you need. Gallons of beer, gallons of liquor and a few potato chips. Anyway this chick shows up and I slowly realize that it’s Hermoine Granger or rather the actress Emma Watson, who every single frat brother dreamed of hooking up with as we watched her play Hermoine in the Harry Potter films when we were young.
And now here she was, Emma Watson at our frat party. Awesome! One way it was easy to tell that it was her is that she refused to drink the kegs of Bud Light that we had. I guess that would be too Muggle-like for her. She asked for wine. Luckily we had an open bottle of wine that my uncle Frankie said used to be known as Two Buck Chuck laying around and I let her pour a glass. She took a couple of sips, but then Brandon put his arm around her and asked if she wanted to go upstairs and make out right now. At that she put the glass of wine down and promptly exited. Fuck!
Now Nicolas claims that it wasn’t Emma Watson at all, just a new girl from the Tri-Delta sorority who had crashed the party. But Joshua and I swear it was Hermoine Granger, looking very adult hot now! So we have decided to offer the glass that she was drinking from on eBay. My plan had been to include both the glass and the leftover wine in a seperate container as a package, but then Joshua suddenly swallowed the wine and let out a loud burp. Damn him!
So here is the glass at least, with Hermoine's/Emma’s lipstick on it and a little bit of wine at the bottom. Apparently eBay suggests that bidding should always start at 99¢, but there is no way I am going to risk someone stealing it for that price. So the minimum bid is $100!
